Founded in São Paulo in 1991, the Associação
Cultural Videobrasil is a non-profit entity responsable for the INTERNACIONAL
VIDEOBRASIL FESTIVAL as well as the distribution and divulgence of
video in all its artistic forms. It has worked with the intent of creating
a permanent space for bringing together experimental and independent artistic
video produtions which possibilitates the encounter of artists, curators
and the public. The Associação Cultural Videobrasil keeps
an important, specialized library and, a collection of videos based mainly
on Brasilian and Latin American artists.
